Blissful Weather

Today was amazingly beautiful. The air was clean and clear. I loved the sight of fluffy white clouds on a blue sky, rain drops on vibrant flowers and the fresh smell of rain. Thankful for beautiful days....

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a good friend from High School. It was good to see her! I wish to do more sessions like this one. We discussed what she was looking for, and she really just wanted pictures of her at this stage in her life. She's got a lot going on, but it's obvious that she's in a really beautiful stage!

Saturday was Scott and Maria's big day! Although the forecast predicted 70% chance of rain, God really blessed them with rays of sunshine throughout the day. It was a beautiful day full of love and laughter. Everyone looked beautiful, Maria was stunning and Scott is the happiest man in Orange County.

I had such a sweet session with The Ruiz Family. We kinda went with the flow of things. You have to when you have four kids, I think. Editing these photos got me all teary eyed.I think that I was just so overflowing with joy to see what a sweet relationship they share. Scott & Maria Preview

I had the absolute pleasure of taking Scott and Maria's engagement photos. It was so fun! They are getting hitched in two weeks and I will also be photographing their wedding-I can't wait! They are a lovely couple and I can't wait to show you more photos...Oh my goodness are they beautiful and not just because I took them. You can see the love in their eyes. Their natural affection is sweet to see and a joy to photograph!

Family Fun...

I spent the day a my parents yesterday and had a little photo shoot with my nieces, nephew and my darling sister and her best friend (who is like family). We had fun and went with a Valentine theme. Mom and Dad's garden is perfect. They have fruit trees, blooming flowers and nice green pastures. It's beautiful!I am determined to get us all together some time for family  photos in their backyard. Even though there is a photographer in the family I still haven't managed to get us all in front of my camera. 

I had fun taking fun photos of part of the family.ENJOY..these are some of the most precious people in my life!.

 

 

Picking fruit...

 After a short painting craft with both my girls, Malia wanted to pick tangerines  from the back yard and peel them all by herself. It's so sweet :)I am enjoying her blonde curls and singing. She is turning 3 in a few months ( Belen is turning 5-woah)...sometimes I wonder how it went by so fast!

Say it with flowers.

They are not too elegant or too romantic, the tulip is always just right. I love them in all colors! Reminds me of Spring in Pella, Iowa. I grabbed a bunch at the grocery store yesterday and I am so glad to have spent a few bucks on them.
